All entries must be submitted through Assistexpo-Renfrew Fair. The deadline for entries is August 14, 2026. The exhibitor fee of $5 must be paid before your entries will be confirmed. Please send e-transfer to
contact@renfrewfair.com or make payment at the Renfrew Fair Office.
If transferring, ensure you include in the comments who the transfer is for.

4-H ACHIEVEMENT DAY PROGRAMS
No livestock (dairy or beef cattle, sheep and pigs) will be allowed entry to the Renfrew Fairgrounds unless they possess the approved (intact and undamaged) CFIA tag or PigTRACE identifier. It is the responsibility of the owner and/or exhibitor of any livestock (dairy or beef cattle, sheep and pigs) to ensure that EVERY animal under their care have the required approved tag as per CFIA regulations and PigTRACE regulations. Animals without proper identification will be removed from the fairgrounds by the owner.
1. Only enrolled members of the 4-H Clubs indicated are eligible to compete in the 4-H Achievement Day Program.
2. Satisfactory or non-satisfactory completion is awarded at the conclusion of the 4-H year on the basis of total activity in all phases of the 4-H Program during the year. The basis of awards is outlined in the Rules and Regulations governing each type of 4-H Club.

CLASS 40
NOTE: No female class will be delayed for the convenience of an exhibitor showing in open show or 4-H show
A. Class 40 is open to any member of an organized 4-H Club in Renfrew County in 2025. Each member must show their own 4-H project
B. Deadline for making entries is Friday, August 14 th, 2026.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED ON DAY OF SHOW.
C. 4-H ribbons will be rewarded as well as prize money.
D. Dress Code: These Rules will be strictly enforced at ALL Renfrew County Shows. Members not dressed properly will not be allowed to show in the ring.
a. Dairy – When showing at Achievement Day or Interclub Shows, the member must be wearing clean white pants and shirt, steel-toed boots recommended and a show harness or show clip – no hats or vests.
b. Beef – When showing at Achievement Day or Interclub Shows, the member must wear a plain white shirt, black pants, steel-toed boots recommended and a show harness or show clip – no hats or vests.
c. Sheep – When showing at Achievement Day or Interclub Shows, the member must be wearing a white shirt, black pants, steel toed boots recommended, and a show harness or show clip – no hats or vests
E. All livestock will be verified as the members 4-H project according to the ear tag and tattoo on the information sheet submitted to the provincial coordinator’s office by June 1 st, 2026. Any projects not matching the information sheet will not be allowed into the show.
F. PLEASE NOTE: In order to maintain the integrity of the 4-H program in Renfrew County, the 4-H Association in compliance with 4-H Ontario rules prohibits the use of non-therapeutic drugs on 4-H livestock projects. If drugging is detected, the member responsible will not be allowed to show livestock in any 4-H class for the rest of the calendar year and will forfeit the completion of the ongoing 4-H project.
G. Disease: Under no circumstances should an animal exhibit signs of transmittable disease (ringworm, lice, warts etc.) be allowed to show. The 4-H member should contact their leader immediately if the calf is exhibiting signs of a disease.
H. The 4-H member must be trained and prepared for the show by the 4-H member only.
I. Ontario has been declared a Brucellosis Free Region. In a Brucellosis Free Region, no negative test within 60 days is required for cattle to enter a show or an exhibition being held in that region or any other region. Cattle need not be accompanied by any documentation to enter shows or exhibitions.
J. In all classes, there must be at least two entries. If less than two, they will be combined in the Any Other Breed Class, or by most appropriate age groups.

Exhibitors must be pre 4-H age. Calves must be born after March 1, 2026. No calf that is to be shown as a 4-H project will be allowed to be shown. The exhibitor will be judged 50% on calf and 50% on enthusiasm. This class will be held Friday, September 11 at the conclusion of the Dairy Interclub Show. PLEASE PRE-REGISTER BY CALLING 432-5331 BEFORE MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026.
